Hamburg and Rice
This is what I eat when my stomach is upset but I love it.
One cup of white rice
2 cups of water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 tablespoon butter
1/2 pound of 90% lean hamburger
Boil the water
Add the salt, butter and rice
Cover and cook on low for about ten minutes or until the rice is done
Set aside.
Brown and crumble the hamburg
Salt to your taste
Add the rice and mix together.
This is a very old cure that I remember my Mom making for me.
I don’t know if it works but it is good.
