Saturday Pizza

Pizza is the best.

You have your carbs, fat, protein and vegetables all in one.

So enjoy every bite

Tonight let’s make white pizza.

One pound of pizza dough

One pound of mozzarella cheese

1/2 pound ricotta cheese

1/2 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon oregano

salt and black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil divided

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

Grease the cookie sheet with crisco

Stretch the pizza dough out to the ends of the pan.

Spread one tablespoon of olive oil on the dough and sprinkle with salt.

Spread the ricotta cheese on the dough

Sprinkle the oregano, garlic and parmesan cheese.

Add the mozzarella cheese

Drizzle one more tablespoon of olive oil on top.

Bake on the bottom shelf for 15 minutes . Check the bottom crust to see if it is brown and crisp.

Make sure it is crisp or else it will be soggy.

You can add broccoli, spinach, olives, carmelized onions, red roasted peppers or artichokes.

This is a keeper.

So good.

Serve with a huge salad and cup of soup
