Baked gnocchi

Simple, delicious and it takes 15 minutes.

Two pounds of gnocchi.

Four ounces diced pancetta.

One tablespoons oil.

6 cloves minced garlic.

One 16 ounce can of diced tomatoes.

Two small cans of tomato sauce.

1/2 teaspoon oregano.

8 basil leaves.

1/2 teaspoon salt.

1/2 teaspoon sugar.

1/2 teaspoon black pepper.

1/2 cup half and half.

3/4  pound mozzarella cheese.

6 slices muenster cheese about 1/2 a pound

3 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Boil the gnocchi according to the package directions.

Brown the pancetta in the oil.

Add the garlic and saute .

Add everything except the half and half.

Bring to a boil.

Take off the heat and add the half and half.

Mix the cooked gnocchi with the sauce into a baking dish.

Add all the cheese on top.

Bake at 350 till the cheese is melted.

This is real comfort food.

The pancetta gives this a different flavor.

Serve this with a big green salad and crusty italian bread.
