Sometimes, just buy the mix.

I found a box of chicken teriyaki mix in my closet.

It came with a packet of dry spices and a packet of teriyaki sauce

I added:

One pound of chicken tenders cut into thin pieces

One sliced onion

4 cloves chopped garlic

3 tablespoons sesame oil

One sliced red pepper

One cup sliced carrots, make sure you slice them thin

Two cups broccoli, cut into mouth size pieces

One sliced scallion for garnish

Mix the chicken with the dry mix plus add 1/4 teaspoon dry red pepper flakes.

Heat the oil

Add the garlic

Cook for two minutes

Add the seasoned chicken in a single layer

Wait till the bottom is brown then start stir frying

Cook for five minutes

Add the onions

Cook for two minutes

Add the teriyaki sauce and 1/2 cup water

Bring to a slow boil then add the carrots and broccoli

Stir fry everything till the sauce starts thicken

Add the red pepper slices

Stir fry again

Garnish with the scallions

Serve with white rice
