Angie’s Chicken Wings

These wings are still my children’s favorite.
I have made so many over the years.
Only use a disposable pan because it is so sticky.
Five pounds of chicken wings.
Only buy the drums and wingettes.
They are called the party wings.
If the price is right , I use the whole wing.
One cup of low salt soy sauce.
Three cloves minced garlic
One teaspoon Dijon mustard
One teaspoon fresh grated ginger
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apricot preserves.
Mix everything except the wings together then pour over the wings.
Coat then well.
Marinate overnight.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
I use my convection oven because the chicken gets crispy.
Use a sheet of non stick foil on the bottom of the pan.
Place the chicken on your pan.
Do not let the chicken touch
Bake for 20 minutes.
Turn the chicken and baste both sides with the remaining sauce.
Do this again after twenty minutes.
These wings take about 90 minutes to cook.
They are really good.
You need a ton of napkins.
