Sticky Asian Pork

This is one of my favorite meals.

It is great for a crowd because you can eat it plain with rice and vegetables.

I put the pork in a scallion pancake with pickled vegetables.

I also love it on a cold mixed vegetable salad.

Leftovers are great.

4 to 5 pounds of thin sliced pork or chicken

20 ounces of ginger ale

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup ketchup

1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce

One clove minced garlic

Mix all the marinade ingredients together

Add the meat

Let everything marinate overnight.

Work in small batches.

Put two tablespoons of oil in a nonstick skillet

On high heat let the meat brown on one side.

Do not turn it over until the meat is brown.

This takes maybe two minutes then flip the meat over for another minute.

Its done.

Garnish with sliced scallions

You can also skewer this meat and put it on the grill.
