Broccoli with garlic and oil

Make a lot of this because it goes fast.

This is probably enough for four people but not at my house.

One large head of broccoli or six cups of stems and flowers.

Six big cloves of sliced garlic

3/4 teaspoon garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/3 cup olive oil

Steam the broccoli in the microwave till it is bright green and still crunchy

Brown the garlic in the oil.

Add the garlic salt and take it off the heat

Add the red pepper

Toss the drained cooked broccoli with the oil and garlic.

Make sure everything is evenly coated with the oil.

Adjust the salt to you’re liking.

The soft brown garlic is almost better then the broccoli.

If you have any leftover you can add pasta and Parmesan cheese or make a delicious omelet with cheese.

I have also thrown the leftovers in a stir fry.
